Our Dark Moon Incubation Mini-Retreat in Portland is coming up next week. Our meditation theme for this lunation is sacred dwelling.
For local attendees in Portland, we'll open with a recitation of our standard prayer: In Praise of Holy Darkness. We'll then make our offerings and petitions to the Powers, and take our tea in prayerful silence. Once we sit down for tea, we'll keep companionable silence as much as possible for the rest of the retreat.
As usual, we can host one overnighter if you let us know in advance.
The Eugene-based FBSS node does not yet have a regular host for monthly dark moon retreats, but we do have a member who's open to serving as an occasional host. If you're interested in attending in Eugene, send me a DM here on DFOS for more details.
As always, we invite anyone in our Dark Forest to participate as you see fit from anywhere in the world. We'd also welcome any thoughts you may have about our theme over this moontide.

Dark Moon Prayer: In Praise of Holy Darkness
May we hearken to the wisdom and gifts of darkness, rest, and shadow.
May we remember to create space for silence, stillness, solitude, and mystery.
May we dwell respectfully in states of unknowing and non-doing.
May we permit our imagination unfettered freedom in contemplation of the sacred.
