Now Available: Mordgud Prayer Printable

Welcome to everyone who found their way into our Dark Forest space through our recent Substack announcement.

(Out of respect for your inbox we certainly won't be announcing every new item in our shop via email, but since we now have several new-to-DFOS members who are getting acclimated, we'll make an exception for this case).

Today BSS released a four-line prayer printable from our "Lower Powers" series for Mordgud (Old Norse: Móðguðr) in a call-and-response format. This is the third in a series of call-and-response prayers designed for personal and small group practice. Similar printables are also available for Nótt and Skadi.

In this case the downloadable item contains two different designs. The prayer is exactly the same in each case, but it was hard to decide between two illustrations by Louis Moe (as seen here) for the background art. So we made two designs and released them together as one download so you can pick your favorite.

The files are purchasable as a bundle in-app directly from our desktop (using a Stripe payment flow). Everything you purchase through DFOS will live in your media library (wallet), and remains yours to keep and re-download anytime, even if it ever disappears from our in-house shop. More info here.

All the original prayers we've written for use in our daily practice will be released in a similar format, using the same frame so they're easily identifiable as part of a series.

We plan to release the whole series one by one as pay-what-you-want with $1 as the default price. Eventually you'll have the option to purchase them in larger bundles also.

We'll soon have a public storefront so you can make purchases without logging in.
