International Dark Sky Week is a global movement FBSS wholeheartedly supports. The nonprofit also has an Oregon chapter.

Our Sanctuary has operated in alignment with the Five Principles for Responsible Outdoor Lighting for many years before they were formalized, so we're happy to sign the pledge.

We encourage our readers to sign the pledge too, and to celebrate with FBSS next week in whatever way they see fit!
